A Day at the Naples Zoo

The last time my mom was in town we decided to take the girls to the Naples Zoo. Back in New York, I took the girls to the Bronx Zoo a few times and figured that would be hard to top but the Naples Zoo did not disappoint at all.

We took a ride in a catamaran to get a closer look at the lemurs, chatted with parrots and fed the giraffes but my favorite part was seeing the large animal displays made from plastic debris found in the ocean. When you see the amount of trash that we dump into the oceans- and hurt animals- it is a sad realization. It was very interesting and eye-opening.

The girls had a blast and I think we will be adding this to our list of “Fun Things To Do In Naples!”
