Getting (And Giving) More For The Holidays

This is a sponsored post.  All opinions are my own.

It's already the middle of December and I'm happy to say that I feel like it's going pretty smooth.  No, I haven't bought and wrapped all the Christmas presents or finalized our holiday plans or even sent out my holiday cards for that matter but I've been very relaxed with the seasonal shuffle that tends to take place around this time of year.  I think a lot of the calmness has to do with the weather here in Florida and this being my first winter in a sunny place, when I'm not vacationing but actually living there.  Not going to lie, it's amazing and I am thankful for it everyday.  This past year was filled with a lot of cloudy days and I walked through some storms so I deserve all the sunshine.  Also, not having to commute in and out of Manhattan for two hours in freezing cold weather is a gift in and of itself.  I put my time in on that one, too!

I deserve, as we all do, to be stress-free during the holidays.  Shopping online has always been my "strategy " against holiday stress but Groupon steps it up even further with Groupon Coupons.  We have some holiday parties coming up (actual adult ones- yay!) so I'm checking discounts for my go-to, Banana Republic so my plus one and I can dress up.  My husband asked me what colors I was thinking of wearing so "we could coordinate."  And, he's seen a handful of Hallmark movies already with me this season-without complaining.  It really is Christmas!

I love giving wine as host and hostess gifts.  This year, instead of heading out to shop for one each time we go to a party or an event, I'm buying a few at a time.  This is perfect for when we're heading out (since leaving my house takes 3 hours, on a good day).  I can just grab a bottle before we go, wrap it in some pretty wine bags and give to our host or I can also gift to guests as they stop in and visit throughout the holiday.  Good wine never goes to waste, or out of style.

Sipping on wine while a write my holiday cards sounds like a good idea right now.  Here's a sneak peak at our card this year.  I love the RED!
